Welcome to a four-day wine and lifestyle journey!
We are repeating last year’s smashing success with the wine and food journey. Languedoc is now one of the ‘hottest’ wine regions in France. It is the largest in area in the world and was previously known as a producer of simple table wines. Today, this region is one of the most dynamic, not only in France but in the world. It is home to many new, young, ambitious and forward-thinking wine producers. A modern environmental approach combined with fresh and creative experimentation means that today unique and characterful wines of the highest quality are produced here. Wines that you can still afford to buy! You’ll get to know the Languedoc as a wine region and what’s specific to us down here, including best-in-class organic/biodynamic and natural wines. We’ve picked our favorite wineries where you’ll shake hands with the winemaker himself, who will tell you about their wines, how they are made, take us on a tour and of course try their wines. One of the days we have lunch at the winery with local delicacies that the winemaker has paired with his wines. We will also have a visit from a winemaker at La Belle Vue who will bring his wines to which we have created a dinner. Of course, we visit our two lovely and renowned restaurants in the village where we can enjoy the best food and specialties of the area. You will of course be able to order the wines you drink free of charge to your front door. We only have 12 places on our wine tour, all to keep the group small and to give you time and space to get to know our winemakers, ask all your questions and of course have a wonderful personal experience of everything down here!
The price of the wine tour will be €1,195 for a double room (single room €1,695).
The price includes: accommodation at La Belle Vue, breakfasts every day, welcome drink, two dinners at home, visits to the vineyards with wine tasting, a lunch at one of our vineyards, transportation to and from the vineyards and restaurants. There are additional costs for restaurant visits. You take care of the trip to Beziérs or Montpellier and we pick you up at the airport/train station. The 2024 wine tours are fully booked.
